To add a resident to one of your properties, you'll need to send them a property code. Property codes are unique to each property and connect residents to your account. When a new resident creates their HOMEE account, they will add the property code you sent them to their profile. You'll need to approve their request before they can start requesting jobs at that property.

Once connected, you'll be able to manage each job they request and track spending for each property.

Invite a Resident to Join Your Property

To add a resident to a property in the HOMEE app:

  1. Open the HOMEE app.
  2. Tap the Menu.
  3. Select your profile.
  4. Select a property.
  5. Tap Send by the property code.
  6. Select how you’d like to send the code, then send.

To add a resident in Workshop:

  1. From Workshop, click your profile picture in the top right.
  2. Select a property.
  3. Click the Property Code.
  4. Enter the resident(s) email address, then click Send Invite.

Approve or Deny a Residentship Request

Once a resident adds the property code to their account, you’ll need to approve them to join the property.

To approve or deny a resident request in the HOMEE app:

  1. Open the HOMEE app.
  2. Tap the HOMEE logo to see notifications.
  3. Select the resident request by swiping left, then tap View Details.
  4. Tap Approve or Deny.

You can also see resident requests for a specific property in your profile by tapping See Resident List.

To approve or deny a resident request in Workshop:

  1. From Workshop, click your profile picture in the top right.
  2. Select a property.
  3. Under Residents, select the resident.
  4. Click Accept or Decline.
