How to Assign a Technician

Every Inspection and Repair job has to have a technician assigned.

You can assign a technician on the Job Details or Job Management screens.

To assign a technician from the Job Management screen:

  1. Open your Pro Portal dashboard from your web browser.

  2. Click the blue Assign button on the applicable job on the Jobs screen.

  3. Select the technician you want to assign to the job

  4. Click Save


To assign a technician from the Job Details screen:

  1. Open the Pro Portal dashboard from your web browser.

  2. Click the arrow on the far right of the applicable job to view job details.

  3. Under the Technician section, click the blue Assign button

  4. Select the technician you want to assign to the job

  5. Click Save

Friendly Notes/Reminders:

  • Only Dispatcher and Admin roles can assign and reassign a technician on jobs.

  • If you cannot find your technician in the list, first check to see if they are on your employee list (under Company's tab). If they are not on your employee list, you will need to add them by going to your Profile Gorilla account.
